The mind and body are inseparably one. Every thought we think, whether knowingly or unknowingly, leads to chemical reactions/changes in our brains and bodies; which in turn lead to our feeling; i.e., the physical sensation.
The biochemical changes (chemical changes in our bodies) created by our thoughts are responsible for supporting or destroying the function and life in every cell. Wherever thought goes, a chemical goes with it. Distressed mental state gets converted into the biochemicals that create disease.
Emotion includes both a thought and a feeling (physical sensation). Every emotion, no matter how weak or strong, has these two components because every impulse at the level of mind has a simultaneous impulse in the body.
Positive thoughts lead to positive feelings such as faith, love, peace, joy, etc. Similarly, negative thoughts lead to negative feelings such as fear, anxiety, anger, guilt, stress, depression, etc. Thoughts appear to be automatic, but in fact they are learned from some past experiences.
When we think negative, we feel negative, which leads to further negative thoughts that in turn create more negative feelings due to biochemical imbalance; hence, we get entangled in a vicious cycle of negativity.
Whenever we encounter emotionally stressful experience in our lives, then there comes a possibility of developing some kind of illness (mental or physical). The development of illness depends on the kind of emotional stress we experience; such as financial loss, death of a loved one, family quarrel, and so forth. The health problem may develop within a day or it may take even years; depending on the intensity, duration and frequency of the emotional stress experienced. At times the experience is suppressed with no illness, but years later another emotionally stressful experience may trigger a health disorder.
Yet another very important factor responsible in the development of a disease is our attitude towards the experience. The more positive is our mental attitude towards any experience in life, the less is the chance we have in acquiring diseases. No doubt, our physical fitness, food habits and our life-style do have an impact on our health condition; however nothing is more important then our beliefs, thoughts and feelings; i.e., our mental attitude towards life experiences.
Whenever we have some health problem, it means that there is some kind of distortion or negativity in our thinking process. It can also mean that we are angry with somebody, either with others or with ourselves.
No matter how much we take care of our body, which is very important to stay youthful, unless we take care of our mind (beliefs, thoughts and feelings) – we cannot be really healthy.
Hence, the essence of perfect health is not only healthy (fit and strong) body, but also healthy (positive and peaceful) mind!
Whenever we undergo a painful experience, there is an impact or change in our belief system regarding the experience, which leads to a change in our thinking or thought pattern in similar experiences. Emotionally stressful experience creates negative belief regarding the experience; and hence, our thought pattern (the way we think) regarding the experience also becomes negative. This negative though pattern in turn, creates health problem in our life (mental or physical) either within a short time or over a period of time, as mentioned earlier.
A belief is a thought which is ingrained in our inner mind due to some past experience, and which comes out automatically in similar experiences.
For instance, if a child is bitten by a dog in his childhood, then a belief is formed that dogs bite and are dangerous. Now, even when the child grows up, and when he sees a dog nearby, the thought will automatically come that this dog can bite and is dangerous. This is the implication of belief, you see!
Different thought patterns have impact on different parts and organs of our bodies. Different kinds of negative thoughts attack different cells in our bodies, some fast and some slow, and thereby create diseases in us.
For example, due to some reasons or past painful experiences, if a person sees his future dark and has fear of future, then over a period of time he may develop myopia (nearsightedness), meaning vision of far is lessened.
Thus we can say that illnesses are created by our thoughts or our thinking patterns, in other words, created by ourselves.
Hence by changing our thought patterns, i.e. the way we think during a particular experience, we change the condition of our bodies and our health problems, over a period of time.
The skin replaces itself once a month, the stomach lining every five days, the liver every six weeks, the skeleton every three months, and so forth.
To the naked eyes, these organs look the same from moment to moment, but they are always in flux (continuous change). In one year's time, 98 percent of the atoms in our bodies change. Now these atomic changes in the cells of the organs can be made healthy or unhealthy by our thought patterns.
The unique knowledge provided above is grounded in the discoveries of Quantum Physics (energy exists in indivisible or smallest units) made more than a hundred years ago. The seeds of this new knowledge were planted by Einstein, Bohr, Heisenberg, and the other pioneers of quantum physics, who realized that the accepted way of viewing the physical world and body was false.
Our past negative experiences and thoughts create obsolete programming/conditioning that seems to have control over us. In truth, the power of positive thoughts to heal and cure can be developed or reawakened at any time.
You too can be healed and cured by deconditioning and re-programming your inner mind.
